Business SMS with a clear sender and purpose

A useful text gives a customer information they can return to. Aria's account messaging supports configured outbound SMS; confirm the sending workflow and number with our team before making texting part of your customer process.

Illustrative text-message request

Caller: Could your team send me a link to the service details?

Aria: I can take that request and your contact details for the team.

Staff review the request. Sending a text is a separate action through the business's enabled messaging workflow.

Prepare the account before sending

Define the message and audience

Identify the information to send, the intended recipients and the permission your business has to contact them. A saved phone number alone does not establish a permitted messaging purpose.

Confirm the sending route

Check account access, the selected agent, its sending number and the required brand and campaign approvals. For an application-triggered message, confirm the supported API workflow with our team.

Test the complete message path

Use a permitted test recipient to check the text, sender and delivery result. Establish how recipients get help or stop messages, and which staff process handles questions or failures.

Plan the message around what the recipient needs

Make the sender recognizable

Use the approved sending setup for your account and identify your business in the message. Customers should understand who contacted them and why without having to guess from the phone number.

Keep the message specific

Choose one useful purpose, such as sharing a requested website link. State the next step clearly and keep sensitive information out of an ordinary text unless your business has approved that use.

Know what sending actually achieved

A queued request is different from a delivered message or a customer response. Review the available sending result and decide who will handle delivery problems and further contact.

Message requests to discuss during setup

A customer requests a link to published service information. The business reviews the request and uses its enabled SMS workflow to send the relevant page.

A site owner wants a message initiated by another application. The setup review identifies the recipient, message and account sending configuration required for that request.

A team plans to use texts for appointment information. It first confirms the exact trigger and delivery path; enabling phone booking alone does not create a reminder service.

Questions about business texting

Can the voice agent send a text during any call?

The account messaging described here is a separate sending workflow. Do not make an immediate in-call text part of your customer promise until that exact action has been confirmed and tested for your setup.

Does Aria provide a two-way texting inbox?

This page describes outbound business messaging. If you need staff replies, a shared inbox or an AI text conversation, ask us to verify that requirement before choosing the workflow.

Will messages use the number my customers already call?

The sender depends on the agent number and messaging setup approved for your account. Confirm the actual number shown to a recipient during testing rather than assuming any business line can send texts.

Are appointment reminders included automatically?

No automatic reminder schedule is promised here. Identify the event, message and sending method you need, then confirm that the complete workflow is available in your account.

What if a message cannot be sent?

Review the available sending result and your account configuration before retrying. Your team needs a process for failed delivery and recipient preferences; a send request is not proof that a customer received the information.
